Breguet Marine Chronographe 5527

Breguet's Marine Chronographe 5527, reference 5527BB/Y2/5WV, is a chronograph in an 18K white gold case measuring 42.3 mm across. The case stands 13.9 mm thick, with lugs set at 24.5 mm apart. A self-winding calibre 582QA drives the watch, with 48 hours of power reserve and a flat silicon balance spring by Breguet. The blue guilloché dial sits under a sapphire crystal and carries luminous hands, indices and numerals for legibility. Beyond the flyback chronograph function, the dial shows the date and a small seconds display, and the sapphire caseback exposes the movement. A screw-down crown protects the case, which is fitted to a rubber strap with a white gold folding clasp. That same crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre rating.
