Breguet Marine 9517

Breguet's Marine 9517, reference 9517ST/E2/584, has a steel case measuring 33.8 mm across, a size designed for slender wrists. The case stands 9.9 mm thick, with lugs set 18.5 mm apart, and the blue lacquered dial sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 591 A, with a flat silicon balance spring and 38 hours of power reserve. The dial shows a central seconds display and a date aperture at 3 o'clock, with luminous hands and indices for night use. A sapphire caseback allows a view of the movement. The watch is fitted to a rubber strap with a steel three-blade deployant clasp. Breguet rates the case to 50 metres of water resistance.
