Audemars Piguet Tourbillon "Companion"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon "Companion", reference 26656TI.GG.D019VE.01, is a 43 mm titanium case built for this limited-edition collaboration with KAWS. The case measures 17.4 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal over a grey dial. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 2979, a tourbillon movement with peripheral hours and minutes so nothing obstructs the miniature Companion figure at the centre. Only a limited run of these pieces was made. The light grey textured calfskin strap closes with a titanium folding clasp, and the interchangeable strap system allows the additional dark grey calfskin strap to be fitted in its place. Water resistance sits at 100 metres, a respectable figure for a piece built around such an elaborate display.
