Audemars Piguet Supersonnerie (RD#1)

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Concept Supersonnerie, reference 26577TI.OO.D002CA.01, is a 44 mm titanium chronograph. The case houses the manual-winding calibre 2937, viewed through an openworked dial under a sapphire crystal. This is a watch built around sound as much as time, combining a minute repeater on two gongs with a tourbillon and a chronograph with a central sweep-seconds hand and a 30-minute counter. The repeater's acoustic architecture was developed to bring the clarity of a traditional pocket watch into a wristwatch case. A black rubber strap closes with a titanium AP folding clasp. Given the complexity of the movement, water resistance is a modest 20 metres.
