Audemars Piguet's Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked, reference 26601NR.OO.D002KB.01, has a 41 mm black ceramic case. The openworked dial exposes the movement's architecture and sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding Calibre 2972, visible through the skeletonised construction rather than hidden behind it. The flying tourbillon occupies its own position on the dial, unobstructed by a bridge, and the openworked layout lets the going train show through from the front. Hours and minutes are the only other functions, keeping the display uncluttered. The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap lined in calfskin, closed by an 18-carat pink gold folding clasp. That clasp secures a case rated to 30 metres of water resistance.
