Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin (RD#3)

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin, reference 26660ST.OO.1356ST.02, measures 37 mm across in steel. The case is 8.1 mm thick, slim enough to justify the extra-thin designation. A sapphire crystal covers the purple dial, finished in the brand's Petite Tapisserie pattern. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2968, a flying tourbillon movement that dispenses with an upper bridge so the mechanism appears suspended within the case. This is the Manufacture's first selfwinding flying tourbillon built into a 37 mm Royal Oak. The steel bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance reaches 50 metres.
