Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Chronograph

Audemars Piguet's Code 11.59 Selfwinding Chronograph, reference 26393ST.OO.A009KB.01, has a 41 mm steel case. The case measures 12.6 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal over a grey dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 4401, an in-house movement built for chronograph work. As a chronograph, it combines a flyback function with small seconds and a date display, useful for timing successive events without stopping the counter. The grey rubber-coated strap is fitted with a steel pin buckle. Fit and finish follow the Code 11.59 line's rounded case within an octagonal middle structure. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres, modest for a chronograph but consistent with its dress-sport character.
