Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Chronograph

Audemars Piguet's Code Selfwinding Chronograph, reference 26393CR.OO.A002KB.01, comes in a 41 mm rose gold case. The case measures 12.6 mm thick and pairs with a grey sunburst dial under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 4401, an in-house movement built for chronograph work. This is a chronograph with flyback function, a genuinely useful complication for timing successive events without stopping the counter. Small seconds and a date display round out the layout. The watch is fitted to a black rubber strap closed with an 18-carat white gold pin buckle. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for daily wear but not for diving.
