Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 26231ST.ZZ.A178CA.01 is a steel chronograph measuring 37 mm across and 12.4 mm thick. The case is stainless steel, and the salmon dial with its "Lady Tapisserie" pattern sits under a sapphire crystal. The watch is set with diamonds, giving it a dressed-up edge over the standard Offshore line. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2385, which drives the chronograph, small seconds and date functions. A grey rubber strap closes on a steel pin buckle, and an additional dark grey rubber strap comes with the watch. The proportions are compact for the Offshore family, aimed squarely at a smaller wrist. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, enough for daily wear but not for diving.
