Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Amethyst "50th Anniversary"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding Amethyst "50th Anniversary", reference 15514BC.AY.1284BC.01, measures 41 mm in white gold. The case houses the self-winding calibre 4309, with hours, minutes and centre seconds shown under a sapphire crystal. This is set with diamonds, in this case 861 baguette-cut amethysts totalling around 30.9 carats, part of a set of ten Royal Oak Selfwinding models each finished with a different gemstone. The purple dial is matched to a white gold bracelet closed with an AP folding clasp. The piece carries a dedicated oscillating weight marking fifty years of the collection. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
