Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding 15500OR.OO.1220OR.01 is a 41 mm rose gold model with a case measuring 10.4 mm thick. The black dial has wider indexes and a minute track printed at the outer edge, with the date window set further from the centre. A sapphire crystal covers the dial. Inside is the self-winding Calibre 4302, which drives the hours, minutes, centre seconds and date. The date function sits discreetly within the layout rather than dominating it. The rose gold bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, adequate for everyday wear rather than diving.
