Audemars Piguet Peacock

Audemars Piguet's Établisseurs Peacock, reference 75210OW.OO.7521OW.01, is a white gold automaton built as a secret watch. The case is sculpted in the form of a beetle, its shell opening on an automaton mechanism to unfold a pair of wings. This reveals a hand-sculpted peacock beneath, worked in white gold. The peacock's tail is the dial, finished in translucent enamel and hand engraving under a sapphire crystal. A dragging-hour display takes the place of conventional hands. Behind the scene runs the manual-winding calibre 3098.2, finished by hand. The bracelet is white gold too, built from hollowed feather-shaped links, individually engraved and joined by gold links, with the peacock's eyes set with coloured stones.
