Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak "Jumbo" Extra-Thin "50th Anniversary", reference 16202ST.OO.1240ST.01, has a 39 mm steel case. The case measures 8.1 mm thick, keeping the profile close to the original 1972 proportions. A sapphire crystal covers the blue "Petite Tapisserie" dial, finished in the Bleu Nuit shade developed for this edition. Inside is the self-winding Calibre 7121, fitted with a pink gold oscillating weight marking the model's fiftieth year. The date sits as the sole complication on the dial. The steel bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is set at 50 metres, adequate for daily wear rather than diving.
