Audemars Piguet Extra-Thin Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph (RD#5)

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Extra-Thin Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph (RD#5), reference 26545XT.OO.1240XT.01, has a 39 mm titanium case. The case measures 8.1 mm thick, a slim figure for a chronograph with this much going on underneath. A sapphire crystal covers the blue dial. The self-winding movement is the calibre 8100, developed for this piece and fitted with a flying tourbillon and a flyback chronograph, functions read alongside the hours and minutes. This is a limited edition, one of 150 pieces made to mark the anniversary run. The titanium bracelet carries BMG links and closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is modest at 20 metres, in keeping with the thin, complicated construction.
