Caliber 453 is a manual-winding movement manufactured by Vacheron Constantin from 1940 through the 1960s. Based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 450 (or 449), it is a time-only movement featuring a sub-seconds display and 17 to 18 jewels. The caliber formed the technical foundation for the 485 triple-calendar movement.
