Family: valjoux
The Valjoux 7740 is a manual-winding chronograph caliber introduced by Tudor in 1974. It belongs to the Valjoux family of ébauches and was fitted in Tudor's vintage chronograph references of the 1970s and 1980s. As a non-in-house movement, it represents Tudor's reliance on established supplier movements before developing their own manufacture calibers. Production has been discontinued.
