The 27CS is a center-seconds manual-winding movement manufactured in-house by Smiths, launched in 1959 alongside the 1215 caliber. It features shock protection and an 'into-beat' adjustable hairspring for precision timing. The caliber was produced in De Luxe and Astral variants and was discontinued before 1980.
