VH64 is Seiko's in-house quartz movement featuring a pointer date and day subdials at the 3 and 9 positions. Unlike standard quartz calibers that advance in steps, it offers a smooth sweeping seconds hand—a signature characteristic of Seiko's premium quartz range. The movement remains in production and serves as the base for various Seiko dress and casual watches.
