Family: VD5
The VD53 is a quartz chronograph caliber manufactured by Seiko. It features a tri-compax layout with the 3-6-9 configuration: running seconds at 6 o'clock, 60-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and 24-hour indicator at 3 o'clock. The date aperture sits at 4:30. As part of the VD5 family, it is an in-house movement still in production.
