The Seiko caliber 9T82 is a quartz kinetic chronograph movement found in Sportura watches. It uses a capacitor as its power source, charged by the movement of a rotor during wear, and requires approximately 200 swings to fully charge. The movement contains 38 jewels, maintains accuracy within 15 seconds per month, and features hacking seconds. The 9T82 is hand-finished and assembled by Grand Seiko level master watchmakers at the Shinshu Artisan Time Studio in Japan and remains in production.
