The Seiko caliber 7X52 is an in-house solar-powered quartz movement made in Japan. It contains 10 jewels, maintains accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month, and the rechargeable CLB2016 capacitor provides approximately six months of power reserve when fully charged. The movement includes GPS-controlled time and time zone adjustment, a perpetual calendar accurate through February 2100, and a world time function spanning 39 time zones. The caliber remains in production and serves as the base movement for the first-generation Seiko Astron collection.
