The Seiko caliber 6119 is an automatic movement introduced in 1967 and produced into the mid-1970s. It features a day-date calendar with quickset mechanism for both the date and day displays. The movement uses a ball-bearing rotor and Diashock shock protection. Three variants were produced (6119A, 6119B, and 6119C), with the C version offering instant-setting for both calendar displays.
