Seiko caliber 5M62A is an in-house Japanese kinetic quartz movement featuring a date complication. Power reserve is displayed via the seconds hand when pressing the button at 2:00; some models include a dial scale from 12:00 to 6:00. The movement includes a low battery indicator that causes the seconds hand to jump every two seconds. It differs from the similar 5M63, which adds a day complication.
