Seiko caliber 5606A is an automatic movement introduced in 1969 and discontinued by the early 1970s. It features sweep seconds, quickset date, and hacking seconds — a relatively uncommon combination for Japanese movements of that period. The caliber saw use in Seiko's dress and casual models before the company consolidated its movement lines.
