The Seiko caliber 3X22 is a solar-powered quartz movement manufactured in Japan. It powers several Seiko Astron GPS models, including the 1969 Quartz Astron 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. The movement incorporates a digital display and uses GPS signal reception for automatic time adjustment. Production has been discontinued.
