The RM 027 is a manual-winding tourbillon caliber made by Richard Mille. Introduced in 2010 and produced in-house, it powered the lightest mechanical watch at its launch, weighing under 20 grams with strap. The tourbillon cage is suspended on cables within the case and rated for shock resistance up to 5,000g. This movement was specifically developed to withstand the demands of professional tennis, most notably worn by Rafael Nadal during Grand Slam matches. Production has ended.
