The PUW 49 is a manual-winding pocket watch movement manufactured by Pforzheimer Uhrenwerke in Germany. Introduced in 1950, it measures 13.0 mm in diameter and 19.7 mm in length, equivalent to 5¾ × 8¾ lignes. The movement features 15 or 17 jewels and an anchor escapement without shock protection. It is also known as the Election 275 in some parts registers.
