The Longines L888-6 is an automatic movement manufactured in Switzerland. Based on the ETA A31.L11, it measures 11.5mm in diameter and 3.45mm thick, operates at 25200 vph, and delivers a 72-hour power reserve with 21 jewels. The movement features hand winding, a ball-bearing rotor, sweep seconds, and date display, with Nivashock shock protection. Its distinguishing characteristic is a silicon hairspring, making it antimagnetic and COSC-certified. The caliber remains in production.
