The Longines caliber L288.2 is a thermocompensated high-speed quartz movement based on the ETA E56.111, found in the Conquest VHP (Very High Precision) collection. Operating at a frequency of 1,440,000 vph (400 Hz) with three independent two-way motors, it achieves an accuracy of approximately ±5 seconds per year. The movement includes a Gear Position Detection system that protects against magnetic fields and shocks, automatically correcting the time when needed. It uses an SR936W battery and is manufactured in Switzerland.
