Longines L-238-2

The Longines L238.2 is a slim quartz movement measuring 25.6mm in diameter and just 1.5mm thick, based on the ETA 210.411. It features analog display with a date complication, sweep seconds, hand-winding capability, and a bidirectional rotor. The movement includes 21 jewels and Incabloc shock protection, with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Though not in-house, Longines brands the caliber while retaining ETA markings, and it is frequently used in the brand's dress watch collection, including the Longines Les Grandes Classiques "Ellipse." The movement remains in production.
