The J800.1 is an automatic movement based on the ETA 2824-2, manufactured in Switzerland. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph and features Incabloc shock protection. Junghans offers it in no-date configurations, though these are not true no-date movements—the datewheel mechanism remains in place with a non-date dial, resulting in a phantom datewheel position. The movement remains in production and is used in watches such as the Junghans Max Bill Automatic and Meister collections.
