Family: 4xx
Caliber 478 is a manual-winding movement introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1950. Part of the in-house 4xx family, it functioned as a chronometer-grade base caliber. The movement was supplied to Vacheron Constantin for the Chronometer Royal. Production has been discontinued.
