The IWC 82300 is an automatic in-house chronograph caliber introduced in 2017 and remains in production. Developed as part of the 82xxx caliber family, it powers Portugieser Chronograph models and represents IWC's return to proprietary chronograph movements after years of relying on modified ETA and Sellita calibers. The movement features a column-wheel chronograph mechanism with bidirectional Pellaton winding, a configuration consistent with IWC's modern in-house chronograph architecture.
