Caliber 5000 is an automatic movement manufactured by IWC Schaffhausen, introduced in 2000. It features the Pellaton winding system and measures 37.8mm in diameter. The movement contains a massive barrel delivering a 7 to 8 day power reserve. It was used in the Portugieser Automatic line before being discontinued in favor of the 82000 caliber family.
