ETA SA PRECISION-TECHNOLOGY-PT5000

The PT5000 is an automatic movement manufactured by HK Precision Technology in China, introduced in 2015. It operates at 28,800 vph and uses a ball-bearing bidirectional rotor with a magic lever winding system and Novodiac shock protection. The movement is a clone of the ETA 2824-2, maintaining the same dimensions for interchangeability. A Shancheng-branded watch with this caliber achieved chronometer certification after passing tests at Germany's Glashütte Observatory in January 2018. The movement remains in production.
