Family: 500
The Hamilton caliber 505 is an improved electric movement introduced in 1961 as an evolution of the original 500 caliber. It addressed reliability issues present in the earlier version through a substantially redesigned contact system. Hamilton manufactured this caliber in-house, and it remained in production through the 1960s, powering various electric models including the distinctive Ventura.
