ETA SA R150

The R150 is an automatic movement manufactured by ETA SA in Switzerland, introduced in 2016 as part of the Mecano Series 100 family. Operating at 28,800 A/h with 25 jewels, it delivers a 40-hour power reserve through a Nivaflex mainspring and features hand winding, bi-directional automatic winding with a pawl-based reverser, hacking seconds, and quickset date. The movement was designed to compete with the ETA 2824-2 and, despite similar dimensions, is not a drop-in replacement. It remains in production and has been used by Shinola in the Lake Erie Monster.
