The BT1R3 is a Fossil quartz hybrid analog-digital caliber. It pairs a Miyota caliber 2026 for the analog hours and minutes with a separate digital module displaying seconds on an LCD sub-dial. Each display runs on its own 377 cell battery, providing approximately three years of combined power. This movement appears in Fossil Big Tic models from around 1999–2000 and is signed "FOSSIL CHIN" for Chinese assembly.
