ETA SA ETA Unitas 6498-1

The ETA Unitas 6498-1 is a manual-winding movement manufactured by ETA SA. Introduced in 1950, it remains in production and is part of the ETA Unitas 6497/6498 family. The movement measures approximately 36.6mm in diameter and around 4.5mm thick, operates at 18,000 vph with a power reserve of approximately 56 hours, and features 17 or 19 jewels. It is distinguished by its large sub-dial at 3 o'clock, differentiating it from the 6497 variant which positions the sub-dial at 9 o'clock. The movement is used in contemporary watches including the La Grande Manuelle X47 and Replique Manuelle.
