ETA SA C07-XXX

The ETA C07 (marketed as Powermatic 80) is an automatic movement manufactured by ETA SA in Switzerland, based on the ETA 28XX-2 platform. It features an 80-hour power reserve and is equipped with Nivachoc and Novodiac shock protection. Some variants include a silicon hairspring or big date complication. Unlike traditional movements, the C07 has no regulation device—it is adjusted at the factory using laser technology, which ETA claims improves rate stability as the mainspring unwinds. The movement is used exclusively within Swatch Group brands.
