The ETA 256.513 is a thermocompensated quartz movement measuring 18.2 mm in diameter and 1.95 mm in height. It uses a Renata 315 battery and achieves accuracy of approximately 1 second per month. The movement includes a date complication and features a manual rate correction system operated by pulling the crown to position 3, which sends correction impulses through contacts C+ and C- (±0.33 seconds per month per impulse). Battery end-of-life is indicated by the seconds hand advancing in 4-second steps, while programming is retained during battery changes.
