The ETA 205.911 is a Swiss-made kinetic quartz caliber manufactured by ETA SA. Measuring 25.6 mm in diameter and 3.95 mm thick, it operates at a frequency of 32,768 Hz with 17 jewels. Unlike conventional quartz movements, it uses an oscillating weight to drive a microgenerator that charges an integrated MT 920 accumulator, providing approximately 115 days of autonomy. The movement features sweep seconds with hacking, hand-winding via the crown, date display, and dual-time functionality with quick-set in 1-hour steps; when energy reserve is low, the second hand advances every four seconds as an End of Energy indicator. It remains in production and is used primarily in mid-range sports and diver watches.
