The ratchet wheel is signed Tavannes Watch Co., reflecting Tavannes as the movement's producer — the company trademarked the Cyma name in 1904 and was based in Switzerland's Jura region. By 1950, Tavannes had obtained over 300 patents for mechanical watches. The caliber powered various Cyma timepieces, including vintage models.
