The 6870 is an ultra-thin manual-winding caliber introduced by Credor in 1970. Measuring just 1.98mm in thickness, it ranks among the thinnest movements ever produced. The movement notably lacks a seconds hand, a design choice aligned with dress watch priorities of the era. Part of the Seiko 68xx family, the 6870 was manufactured in-house by Credor and has since been discontinued.
