The Citizen 6000A is a quartz movement manufactured by Citizen. It was introduced in 1969 and discontinued in 1976. The movement features an indirectly driven minute hand, a design choice that permits a larger balance wheel while maintaining a lower case profile. It includes automatic winding, a sweep seconds hand, and a date complication that advances when the time is changed between 20:15 and 24:00 hours.
