The Chopard L.U.C 96.01-L is an in-house automatic movement introduced in 1996. Measuring just 3.3mm thick with a 27.4mm diameter, it employs a micro-rotor for winding and features small seconds and date complications. The movement carries 29 jewels and is certified with the Geneva Seal, denoting finishing to strict Swiss standards. It remains in production as the foundational caliber for the L.U.C collection.
