The Cartier caliber 045MC is a manual-winding monopusher chronograph movement with 22 jewels, produced since 1998. Its defining feature is a single pusher integrated into the crown that handles starting, stopping, and resetting the chronograph seconds hand. The movement uses a horizontal clutch with a double swivel pin design that eliminates the typical jump of the seconds hand when engaged. It was produced in limited numbers and appeared in the Tortue Privée Monopoussoir Chronograph from the Collection Privée Cartier Paris line.
