The Buren 04 is an automatic caliber introduced in 1965, measuring 17.5 mm in diameter with 30 jewels and KIF Ultraflex shock protection. It features a bidirectional rotor that switches direction via a pinion floating between two large jewels, and can also be wound manually. The design includes a ratchet on the dial side and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. Production has been discontinued.
