Family: Minerva chronograph
The 17.29 is a manual-winding pocket watch chronograph caliber introduced by Minerva in 1929. It belongs to the Minerva chronograph family of in-house movements. The caliber was discontinued but served as a design inspiration for the later wristwatch caliber 16.29.
