BOLDR Supply Co. was founded in 2015 in Singapore by Leon Leong, Travis Tan, and a third co-founder from Malaysia. The team initially launched a Kickstarter for the BOLDR Voyage, a hybrid analog-smart watch that raised over $120,000 in 24 hours. However, sharply increased manufacturing costs and unexpected CE/FCC certification expenses forced them to cancel the campaign rather than deliver a compromised product. The team regrouped and launched the BOLDR Journey as their first official watch series, named in celebration of the trials they had overcome. The brand has since grown from Kickstarter roots to direct sales, producing durable tool watches designed for outdoor enthusiasts. BOLDR aims for 80% sustainability in materials and packaging.
